- Update on MESH Networking by Bill Gery, KA2FNK.

February 28, 2020   7:00 pm

- Public Service Events.

President's Corner

February 2020

We will start lining up the suggested programs from the January meeting. At pizza we talked about how we could do some kit building. More details to come on the kits.

Public service support is spinning up fast, events are been published on Larry’s List.

Also, be sure to verify that you as receiving the email which have migrated to group.io.

Volunteers are always needed for public service events. These events prepare us for disasters. Select a couple events to support and contact the event ham coordinator. Better yet, think about being a coordinator for an event. Being an event coordinator is another way be prepared for disaster.

New Website For Fusion

For anyone interested in Fusion and the Wires-X Kansas City Room, there is a new website.

This website is for information about the Kansas City Room, its repeaters and other interesting and useful information about our local room.

Note:  If you try to access it and get a not found error or a server not found error try again later. I am hosting it on a free hosting site and the paying users get priority over us free users. As in everything else you get what you pay for.

Also it is not optimized for your iphone or android. If you view it on your phone it will appear a bit disjointed but don't worry, everything is there.
